KING JAMES BIBLE 1611

2011 is the 400 anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible.

To commemorate this event, the Methodist Church has initiated the Handwritten Bible Project.

This is involving all churches who are asked to hand write an allocated passage from the Bible during March 2011. Special paper has been sent to each church along with instructions.

The finished work will be bound into approximately 20 volumes.

Uckfield Methodist Church has been allocated the Book of Joel, Ch 2: v 21 – 32

March 13th was the day chosen, following morning worship, to write our verses.

A scanned copy of our work is framed and hung on the vestry wall.
